Following a successful crowdfunding initiative, Warside has announced its launch on various platforms, including Steam, PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, scheduled for January 28, 2025. Developed by Lavabird and published by First Break Labs, the game draws clear inspiration from the Advance Wars series, delivering quick-paced tactics on compact maps, featuring turn-based engagements, charming graphics, and a plethora of units for land, sea, and air navigation, all influenced by differing terrains.
Similar to the Advance Wars series, Warside includes 12 unique Commanders, each possessing distinct passive abilities and a powerful, though limited, Battle Power. Players must carefully strategize their use to enhance their likelihood of success in combat.
